Join our team

Here's why we think we're a great company to work for...

Gramos is a young and growing business, full of discovery, learning and innovation. We're incredibly proud of the reputation we're building; one of consistently excellent-tasting coffee, and warm and friendly vibes. But this is just the beginning; we're on a mission to make a long-lasting valuable contribution to the coffee-lover community, the King's Cross community and anyone else who passes through our doors.

Joining us now in this stage of our journey means you will help shape our growth and success. We value and listen to ideas, opinions and insights from all our staff, and with two very hands-on owners, we can act fast to implement changes quickly. We are a small team and there's a lot to do, so working for us means you'll have plenty of opportunity to stretch yourself, build your knowledge and discover new skills.

And if that isn't enough, think of this; you'll have amazing espressos and filters to taste every day.

Current opportunities - January 2023

Coffee bar manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and well-organised individual to manage the operations of our small but busy coffee bar in King’s Cross Underground Station. This role is ideal for anyone who enjoys a challenge, loves hospitality, is great with people, knows about operations, and cares about making great coffee. We need someone to set-up, maintain or improve our systems, and keep our coffee bar running efficiently day-to-day, while maintaining the high quality of our products, contributing ideas for a great customer experience, and supporting staff in their barista skills and customer service.

There is a lot of autonomy in this role, and we are looking for someone keen to develop their ideas and test them out in order to support the success of a growing business.

About you

You are self-motivated and driven by the need to get things done right. You genuinely love hospitality, and have a very personable nature, great with customers, great with staff. You have plenty of experience working in coffee bars or cafes, including at manager/assistant manager/head barista level, and are looking for a role in which you can flex your muscles and put your great ideas to the test.

Salary & package

£26 - £32k depending on experience.

As an employer, we endeavour to support our staff in their interests, such as gym membership, contribution to travel costs (including bikes), and opportunities to roast coffee with the director.
